DNS Propagation Checker
Check how different public DNS resolvers resolve your domain. Use the DNS Lookup Tool or DNS Health Check for single-resolver checks.
DNS Propagation Check
See how different public DNS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, OpenDNS, AdGuard) currently resolve your domain. Results vary by resolver cache and geography.
Results vary by resolver cache. This tool checks multiple public resolvers—no fake locations.
How DNS propagation works
When you change DNS, each resolver and ISP caches records for the TTL period. Propagation is the time it takes for the new values to replace the old ones across the globe.
Why results differ by resolver
Different resolvers (Google, Cloudflare, OpenDNS, etc.) may still have cached the previous records. Comparing multiple resolvers shows whether your change has propagated everywhere.
What TTL means
TTL (Time To Live) is how long a resolver can cache the record. Lower TTL before a change speeds up propagation; after the change, you can raise TTL again to reduce load.
