This policy explains when refunds are available. It does not replace mandatory consumer rights.
1. Eligibility
Refunds may be available for certain hosting services where we offer a refund period or where required by law. Eligibility depends on the service type, how long you have had it, and whether use would make a refund unfair under this policy.
2. Refund window
Where we offer a money-back guarantee for web hosting, VPS or reseller services, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase of that service. The window applies only to the first purchase (not renewals) and only as stated on our website or in your order. After 7 days, refunds are not guaranteed.
3. Non-refundable
- Domain names: registration, renewal and transfer fees are typically non-refundable once processed.
- Licences and add-ons: third-party licences and add-ons purchased on your behalf are usually non-refundable once provisioned.
- Setup fees: may be non-refundable once work is done or the service is activated.
4. Request process
Request a refund via the Client Area or support@webfundament.com within the window. Identify the service or invoice. If approved, we refund to the original payment method where possible. Bank timing is outside our control.
5. Payment method
If the original method cannot be used, we may offer account credit where permitted. We cannot refund to a different person without your authorisation.
6. Crypto payments
Crypto payments may not be reversible on-chain. Any approved refund is handled as described above and may use another method.
7. Abuse prevention
We may refuse refunds where the policy is abused (repeat purchase-and-refund, AUP violations, false data). We may suspend or terminate the account.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes rights you have under mandatory law. We do not claim “no exceptions” against those rights.
9. Policy changes
Updates are posted with a new version and effective date. For existing customers we apply the more favourable purchase-time policy where required by law.
