Source of truth for sold hosting plans is the WHMCS product catalogue.
1. Frequency
WHMCS product text currently lists: Starter Hosting — weekly backups; Pro, Business and Enterprise Hosting — daily backups. VPS backup add-ons follow the option purchased. Marketing copy that said “daily backups” for every plan is aligned to this catalogue.
2. Retention
Retention follows the product or backup option purchased. Where a specific period is stated on the product page or in your service, that period applies. Unstated periods are not invented here.
3. Location
Backups are stored within the service infrastructure for the product. Named third-party backup vendors are published only if confirmed.
4. Restore and costs
Restores may be requested via ticket. Complex or out-of-scope restores may incur fees as quoted.
5. RPO/RTO
No RPO/RTO is contractually promised unless stated in a written SLA.
6. Exclusions
Backups may fail; they are not a substitute for your own copies. Temporary files and some remote mounts may be excluded.
7. Customer obligation
You must keep independent backups of important data.
8. After termination
Backups are deleted after service end following our operational recovery window, except where law requires retention.
